Boelke-Bomart, Inc. and Mobart Music Publications Acquired by Schott/EAM
The twin music publishing firms, Boelke-Bomart, Inc. (ASCAP) and Mobart Music Publications, Inc. (BMI), founded by engraver Walter Boelke, has been acquired by Schott Music Corporation and its American outlet, European American Music.

Among the world's most prestigious music publishers, Schott traces its roots back to the 18th century and the roster of Boelke/Mobart composers will now be represented under the same roof as Beethoven, Wagner, and countless other classical and modern masters.

We are pleased to announce that the complete catalogues of Boelke-Bomart, Inc. and Mobart Music Publications, Inc. are now available worldwide from Schott Music, effective July 1. Boelke-Bomart is the principal publisher of some of the world's leading composers including René Leibowitz, Fred Lerdahl, and Stanislaw Skrowaczewski, and the catalogue includes prized concert music from Charles Ives, Milton Babbitt, George Perle, Ellen Taaffe Zwilich, and many more. All sales materials will be available from Schott in North America through its distributor Hal Leonard.
